Pemberton Forest Stay offers affordable Backpacker accommodation in Western Australia’s beautiful Southern Forest, nine kilometres from Pemberton township. A village of six timber cottages, Its historic roots as the mill workers settlement of Pimelia provide a unique charm while its location amongst majestic karri trees and farmland provides a perfect setting as a base to find farm work which counts towards your 88 days for second year visa.

Your friendly host Adam is more than happy to provide you with information about the region and will use his numerous farm contacts to help provide you with year round employment opportunities in industries such as Avocado, Potato, Apple, Vineyard and Berry picking. To be considered for employment you must be hard working and have your own transport. Previous farm experience with cherry picker operation is preferred. References from previous Australian farm employers is a bonus.

Pemberton Forest Stay can accommodate up to 70 guests and we have the perfect outdoor area and gazebos to relax in after a hard day’s work! All of our heritage style cottages were built between 1936 -1956 and now include High Speed NBN internet and Free-to-Air Digital TV. There is onsite fishing from 2 small dams.
